Free Write- Carpe Diem
I think Carpe Diem means to make the most of every day. "Day" can also mean oppurtunity in this case. Whether it be making the most of what little you have or just not wasting your life, seize the day means to live your life to the fullest.
I totally agree! Seize the Day could be stated as Seize the opportunity.
