Out of the Loop

So all of you non -"math nerds", just wondering if you could fill me in on the class discussions and/or free-writes and/or assignments that took place on Friday. I kind of feel out of the loop because we were gone all day. Heard it was an eventful class period though. haha... any information would be helpful.

Intresting ... ish

This cite is sort of interesting in a weird way I'd say. It is also helpful because it connects back to the age we are studying.... I believe!? Well any who I am just sharing this link with you all because so many other people have put links up and I think I should be cool and do so also.!! well enjoy :)

Question

Is about.com a "good" enough site to use as a cite? I believe it is but I thought I better ask!!

lalalala

So. I have only finished the first two chapters and I already love this book. I don't know why. I just do. I want to keep reading but I don't know if I will have any time to this weekend. hmm. I also need to start making some changes to my Frankenstein paper and email it to Ms. Stariha. Now I'm pretty much out of things to say on this post. (:

Love story

What makes a love story a love story? Probably love, because without love, its really just a story...

Wuthering Heights

Well im actually kind of excited for this book for some reason. I think its mainly because it will be alot easier to read then frankenstein and is a twisted love story so that will be interesting. So only like 5 weeks till school is done so im super excited, I cant get lazy yet though becuase i need to get some good grades on these projects in here lol but all my other classes arent that hard at all so im glad about that. It gives me the chance to focus on this class and maybe i can get a C or maybe a B- if im lucky on these essays and stuff because i seem to never do any better no matter how hard i try lol

Sooooo....

Here I am, so incredibly bored, sitting in Mrs. Walter's computer lab with Stevo and Megannn :) Megan is reading, like usual. However, she isn't reading Wuthering Heights, probably because she has already read it, right Meg? And Stevo is just being plain annoying...saying stupid things to me that deserve to be ignored. Good thing I have four siblings and am pretty good at ignoring people. But, I feel like instead of narrating our every moves right now, I should be blogging something postive about the Victorian age or something that we are studying in class...however, I don't know what to blog....and I'm really just blogging for extra credit because after this paper, I'm going to need it. BUT, no matter how bad my paper turns out, I will get the satisfaction of knowing that it turned out better than Brianna's. (Just kidding, Bre Rae! I love youu and I hope you get a good grade too just like your awesome hit last night during our game!!) :) Smile, it make the world a happier place :)

Critical Analysis

I am really glad we did the peer review, it really helped me to get some other ideas for my paper. And not just off of people's responses to mine, but when you edit someone else's it makes you start to think in a different direction than your mind was previously set. Not copying them, but applying some ways of thinking they used on their topic to yours. I am a little worried about getting a good copy into Stahria by tomorrow moring though because I would like to get some sleep tonight...prom's right around the corner...holy cow!!!!!

Wuthering Heights

So, we just started this book today (Ms. Stariha, I loved your English accent!) and I'm actually pretty excited for it. Why? Well, because it is a loveeee story...a twisted one, but still a loveee story :) I am a little past chapter two and I'm kind of confused. Who is the narrator? And why is he even at Wuthering Heights? Is he working there? Living there? I'm just a little confused about the beginning part so hopefully it gets easier to understand soon...

Wuthering Heights

I am really excited to start reading this book. I love the twisted love stories...or even just twisted stories in general, but having a little romance in there is always good. And maybe I just have a really..strange sense of humor because I love the humor in this book, just with Lockwood making faces at the dogs and egging them on to attack him, and Heathcliff just stands there laughing the whole time, and Lockwood comes back the next day! He is so oblivious to the way Heathcliff feels about him, he's like that annoying kid that you can't get to leave you alone on the play ground or something!
