Test

I am sooo grateful that we went over the test in class today. I thought that that was very beneficial and I think on future tests I will better be able to think through what the question is asking. Also I loved that Ms. Stariha used a student example of the essay (kudos to you hannah!) because a lot of times I don't understand what I need to fix by just talking about it, but by actually looking at an example and having her point out the highlights made it a lot easier to understand. So overall, good class today.

british literature b, hmmmmm its been ok so far? well i dont know, the test was ok? ha, who am i kidding, i blew that thing outta the water... yeahhh? i dont know what to really blog about because well i have nothing very important to say. i guess i could talk about how i dont have internet at home right now because i dont even know why... but its completely dumb!
makes me sad? well yeah and it causes me to be unable to blog which brings tears to my eyes, cause as we all know i am a very passionate blogger, like im hardcore... and now im gonna get going because well honestly i can... so have a splendid weekend?

American Nack

In a world as advanced and delicate as ours
Where people cruise around in their tiny foreign cars,
There stands a society in so great a mess
That even the experts can't even give a guess.
"Deficit, pollution" are what we hear,
Not things we celebrate, joy or cheer.
Ads on the TV and Hollywood actors,
Pro Sports and shows all play as factors.
Technologically advanced and educated we are,
But from perfect, we still are quite far.
Its tough to tell if all this is good,
For its ethics we lack and "right" we should
Learn about and get down packed,
Instead of negativity, the American Nack.

Poem- The Bible

Halfway through the freewrite I scratched out my poem and started this one. It didn't turn out the way I planned but oh well...

One can always find wisdom
within a special book
written about the ways of a man
who was very much mistook

If people would treat this book
as a very dear possession
out world would turn upside down
if they followed every lesson

Projecting only goodwill and love
this book would bring much hope
but without it in this dying world
one can do nothing but cope

test :(

i wasn't too happy with my grade that i got on my test. and i realized something. ms. s grades wayyy differently than ms. k on the essays! which i guess is a little sad, but i think it will def. improve my writing and my understanding of the literature. so, i guess i can't complain, hopefully the next test will be better! :D
