So, as Im reading Im learning that I really dont like Heathcliff. To me in theory hes seems like a chararcter that I would fall in love with, but in reality, I dont like him at all. He is so selfish, all he can focus on is his own desires.. and even though he is in love with cathrine, he still wants it his way.. I dont know.. he just bothers me.

I agree, even though it seems like he loves catherine, he doesnt, he only wants her to fill his own selfish desires, which is not love at all, and catherines the same way, so they both really just want to use eachother, but not, because its not like they just want sex or something like that from eachother, it's something so much deeper, so emotional, i can't really define it, it's like an unsolvable mystery.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i learned heathcliff was a total douchebag when he came back and was being all lovey towards catherine when edgar was right there. but she's a douche too for being all giddy and exited about him. and..is he a ginger? because if not, i don't think you would fall in love with him in reality? hahaha
