stupid book.
thus far, im disliking this book. wasnt it supposed to be like a romance? maybe its cause i havent gotten super far into the book but holy crap the beginning is sooooo dumb and seems pretty pointless. so i had my mom finish the second chapter for me (outloud) and we got to talking and i was all like "i thought this was about some freak creature who tries to eat people.." so my mom comes back with "well yeah, sorta".. so i went on saying how i didnt understand the point of the first couple chapters then, and ya wanna know what she says.. "well its just trying to set a good look at the background.." or whatever she said.. i dont remember how it went but, ughh im just crossing my fingers that this book turns into this romance otherwise, i might be pretty upset... just saying.

ReplyDeleteim the only one with a bad comment about this book, ahhhh shoot. ha
I think this book will end up being better than you think, but not the romance that you think it will be.
ReplyDeletehaha I'm not sure that it will turn out to be the type of romantic book that we usually think of... it might redefine our idea of romance(or romantic books)??
ReplyDeletelol, I don't think this is anything like what we think of as romance...because if I like it, then it can't be romance.
ReplyDeleteUmmm DJ... Didn't you read the first book in the twilight series???
ReplyDeleteMal, this isn't going to be an ushy gushy love story. So maybe we should have a movie night and watch a bunch of sappy Romances so you get it outa your system! Just a thought
Don't worry, Mallory, I don't like this book either.
ReplyDeletedj, you read twilight?! ahahaha and mal, you need to be a little more open minded! give it a chance :p
