Fame Monster

Today we were talking so much about monsters that I got the song Fame Monster by Lady Gaga stuck in my head. I began realizing how many celebratities suffer like Victor did. Pushed to succeed and consumed by fame they begin losing touch with other important parts of the world. Fame is a monster. Look what it did to Princess Di and Heath Ledger. The fame of these individuals was brought on by themselves and became destructive. I think we all can create something that destroys easier than we realize.

    I agree. I think it's easy for us to get wrapped in succeeding that we fail to realize the destruction that we create.

    I think that people are too concerned with worldly matters and they lose what is truely important and their grasp on reality like Victor did.

    That is a good point Maddie. I like how we can always seem to relate things going on in modern society se easily to things going on in society back then.
