W H Y ?
So as I'm reading all of these Various Thoughts and thinking about them, I'm realizing that many of them are telling us things we already know or are aware of yet we continue to "pursue" them for lack of better words. For example, Hannah's thought: Very few men properly speaking, live at present but are providing to live another time. We waste our time waiting for the future or dwelling in the past that we miss out on the small things in life. Is this not one of things that we talk about most? You always hear about it in movies or in books, yet we STILL continue to waste our life away in a different time. Or my thought: Every man desires to live long, but no man would be old. We want to live forever but we want to be young. Obviously death is inevitable yet we try so hard to avoid it and stay young. We know its impossible to stay young. So why? We are so aware of all these things yet be try so hard to avoid them. WHY?!? I mean I admit it myself. I don't want to get old. I dwell on the past and anticipate the future. I don't believe I live life to the fullest. And I just don't understand why I do those things and feel that way. Is it human nature? Is it the influence of society? I guess I'm getting a little excessive so yeah. I'll stop. :)
