Spring Break is a Break
I'm hoping Spring Break will not be tainted with British Literature. Though I enjoy the class, I really need a break and Brit Lit is the class that stresses me out the most. I know we have the satire project and even though it's appears to be a fairly fun assignment I'm not to pleased I'll have to work on it over my vacation. Large projects like this one tend to weigh on me. They're a lot of work and the idea that if I want to raise my grade I need to do fantastic on them tends to loom over me making the whole project foreboding.

I'm planning on getting the project done on saturday and completly emptying my mind(more than usual) of everything that has to do with school.
ReplyDeleteWow Mads, strong words right there! But I definatly know what you mean, especially since I was gone the day we discussed this so it kind of came as a shock to me....but it should be a fun project! If I can manage to find some creative idea...that may be hard.
ReplyDeletemaddie its like you have been inside my head.
ReplyDeletelike i think the projects we do are fun and all but really i just want a massive break from everything and now we have a praject to do over break. :/ ugggh gross.
First of all, I did give it to you nearly a week before break... however, I know some of you were busy this week, and we didn't actually formally discuss it until today. But: how about this Maddie... I'll make this project OPTIONAL. If you don't find value in it to review satire or reflect on society or demonstrate creativity, or if you don't think that you would like to have points to pad your grade in the face of upcoming critical lense papers and the daunting research project, then don't do it. Enjoy your break!
ReplyDeleteI am serious... by the way.
ReplyDeleteWhoooa OPTIONAL project? Nicee...however we already have ours planned and I'm actually excited to film it. I think it'll be fun!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason...I feel Ms. Stariha has something up her sleeve. When she told me to check out the blog she had a sinister smile on her face. Then I read it and it didn't seem to bad but...I feel weary. I think doing the project is a good idea too Jen. Lets stick with it. But thanks Ms. Stariha. :)

ReplyDeleteYes! Thanks Miss Stariha! Honestly I will probably do it anyways which I'm sure is exactly what you expected but it is a lot less daunting now! Hope you have a great break!
ReplyDeleteWow yeah i think your being sneakey or something!! but im so happy i will probably do it but it wont have to be extrodinaory any more!!! lol
ReplyDeleteMaddie... you make me laugh. I had a feeling you would probably do it anyway, because that's the kind of person you are! (Not a bad thing by the way.) What do you mean I am sneaky and sinister?!?!?!? I am so nice to you guys! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA (That's my evil sinister laugh if you were curious.) Oh Kaitlyn, I think you meant "Leary" not "Weary"!
