modern period poems
i really feel in this era they discuss the topic of death a lot more than any other era has before and they get into so much detail and are really complex about it. this, however, as we know is because of the world war that was going on at this time and the thought of death that was preceeding onto the people and the way it affective many families and the thought of death arose because of this.. :/ aww. it really depresses me because poems by t.s. eliot seemed so deep and like he had a lot of pesimissic thoughts and they were really valid and so true and they got you thinking about the thought of your life and being your own idependent individual! and then the poems by that one guy that died because of alcoholism really showed the tragedy that he went through and all the problems he had as well because of the thought of war and his father being part of it:/
