Social division
A Marxist view of "Frankenstein"
The division of social classes has long been a part of society, and in Mary Shelley's"Frankenstein", we can see through different characters, just how these classes cope with each other, and their feelings toward society as a whole. Through characters such as elizabeth, Henry clerval, The monster, and Victor himself, we can see the certain traits which belong to each social class, and how they effect the station and traits of the other classes.
I'm glad that people aren't all doing the same type of literary analysis. I'm sure it will make reading them a lot more interesting for Ms. Stariha.
