Ups and Downs

From recent posts I gather that there are some mixed feelings about how today's test went. This was far from music to my ears. I was hoping to log on to the British Literature B blog today and see my fellow classmates melting from the radiation of yet another soul crushing test. I looked to these blogs searching for reassurance that Kaitlin Bells tearful cry would float through the soft April air all the way across town and though my window singing me to sleep tonight. I looked towards these blogs hoping the sound of window panes shattering would reach my ears as DJ Beckman mourned the decay of his GPA by bringing his baseball bat not to balls but to the houses of innocent citizens. Hoping to hear a helicopter racing over head in search of a young Hannah Huls so ashamed of the B she was sure she would receive on today's test that she was driven to wild ideas never considered by someone who used to be so happy. Some where deep in my mind I even pictured a mob racing down the streets made up of fellow students carrying pitchforks, torches, and savagely crying out for redemption. But no, instead I'm greeted with reviews discussing the suprisingly easy essays and overall good vibes conceived upon handing in the test with a few apprehensions put in the mix! Is a small misfortune to much to ask for these days?

  1. If it makes you feel better, I was really crunched on time today. For some reason the multiple guess and the first essay all but 15 minutes of class. Then I had to rush to get the last two essays done in time, I just hope Mrs. Stariha can read my chicken skratch of penmenship.

  2. Madeline...this just took the cake for your oddest post. But it me laugh out loud...which is a great feat because I'm usually silent laugher when it comes to this stuff! And...I thought the multiple choice was extremely hard! The essays were nice but the multiple choice was killer.
