Thus Far
Class has been quite fun lately! Discussions have been interesting and I really enjoy hearing everyones input. I am of course thinking back to friday and the discussion over religion. I was pleased that we were able to express ideas without being shot down or ignored. Prior to Brit Lit, I believe our discussion would have easily evolved into a division of sides. I feel this class has allowed us to grow more comfortable with our class mates and mature over all. However, I do realize our number of years has had some effect in our maturity. I am just able to see this change easily in our class.

I so agree. It was nice to hear everyone's opinions and not everyone jumping on them and shooting them down. Its not like anyone was bashing another religion.
ReplyDeleteyou are absolutely correct in my thoughts. i feel that a greater learning can come from these class discussions.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think its cool that we are getting to a point that we are embrassing the differences in a way? Instead of it being this power hungry class full of students whose only drive is to be right.
