Snow during Spring Break is just depressing.

It's really sad when Brit Lit starts seeping into your everyday life. A few days ago I found myself listening to Lily Allen in the car and realized quite a few of her songs could be considered satire. Then I heard a song that reminded of the Passionate Shepard, and The Nymph's Reply. Even little things like the new Arthur movie reminds me of OFK and all the posters we made. I'm bracing myself for even more connections as we move more into the modern times.
Also, for all of you that went somewhere nice and sunny break- It's cold, it's cloudy, and it's snowing. This is not okay.

  1. Usually when that happens to me it us usually from a science class, and I will think of things like why the weather is like it is today or after a workout I will name the muscle that hurts the best by its correct name, but lately it has been happening with things I learned in Brit Lit. I guess it is a good thing because it means I am actually learning something but it can be a bit annoying too because when I listen to music I would much rather prefer to just relax and not have to think a lot.

  2. I am driving you guys insane! (My plan is working...) Just joking. But I do agree with you Jen; I am very envious of all those south seekers right now! Darn the cold Michigan weather in APRIL!

  3. Ehm...make that your EVIL plan is working. Especially since now that I decided to get a head start in College English and I'm reading Their eyes were watching God and then listening to Poisonwood Bible on the way to PA. Woohoo.
