people these days
messed up in many ways
we've lost substantial values
people have become so shallow
it's all about what pleases us
like money, drugs, and forbidden lust
obama says its time for a change
apparently that was just for the fame
we've lost all drive
replaced with selfish pride
text, tweet, talk all day
while the world fades away
