Deege my main man...i noticed in class today you were getting mad a little bit..so i thought id let you know i feel for you man...(ladies..please do not take any offense to the following...) sometimes girls can be annoying but God put those pretty little monsters on earth..so we kinda have to deal with them.. you know i looked up this joke and i thought it was pretty funny....(sorry ladies im kinda being a lady hater right now)....

How do you know a woman is about to say something smart?

-She starts her sentence with..."A man once told me..."

I couldnt help but laugh at that lol....well im out, lata ya'll haha....sleep tight and cya tommorow!!!!!

"Best Love Song"

So, right now I am obsessed with T-Pain's new song "Best Love Song" and I love it even more because it's featuring Chris Brown. Anyway, we obviously all know that Heathcliff isn't the friendliest fellow in the world. We know that he has trouble professing his true feelings for Cathy, which, of course, every boy has issues with :p (Okay, so forgive me if I accidently give something away, I'm on chapter 15. I'll try really hard not to.) I know I'm not the only person in the class who thinks that Cathy and Heathcliff are meant to be together; come on now, they were childhood friends. This sounds corny, but they grew up together, they know everything about each other, it was just fate. But, one or both of them is going to defy fate and probably make me cry in the end. That's why every guy should learn from Heathcliff's horrid example: whether you like it or not, you boys need to start "saving the day" and "coming to the rescue" and, most importantly, "making the first move." If you want a girl to start liking you, impress her by taking Edgar's example, for, surely, Edgar would write a love song similiar to "Best Love Song." :)

Extra Credit??

Extra Credit?? Part 2

I am sorry for that my bad I accidentally pushed the enter key instead of the tab key :P Didn't know it would do that but now I do!! haha

Anywayyy what I was going to blog about was blogging for extra credit points..(hence the title) I am thinking I'm going to need them desperately pretty soon with everything coming up.

I also like the fact that we have a blog and I was having these thoughts during American studies where we were watching a pretty entertaining movie about hippies :P hehe the only thing was our sub was C.R.A.Z.Y !! (<-- just like that) like yeah she scares me just a tad. Why I thought of blogging was because I kind of wanted to complain and if that class had a blog I could of, but it doesn't so shucks!! maybe we will have her as a Brit lit sub (that would be horrible) so I can blog about it!!

:) Have A Happy Wendsday!!!!!

Classroom Discussions

I have liked our recent class discussions regarding Wuthering Heights. I think the analysis is giving us a good sense of what is going on in the story. Its tough to tell whats going on just by reading it. The opinions and realizations of others definitely helps me to understand it. Keep up the good work class!

"If you're a bird, then I'm a bird"

There are a lot of references to birds in books and movies. Perfect example: The Notebook with the lake scene when they pretend to birds. Then, in Wuthering Heights Healthcliff is compared to a cuckoo (which Freddy is the bird that lays eggs in other birds nests AND is also the bird that I couldn't remember in the Ornithology science olympiad test) and Hareton is compared to a hedge sparrow. Also, in Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte there is a TON of bird references. My favorite quote from that book is "I am no bird and no net ensnares me, I am a free human being with an independent will." I guess birds are just the perfect example of freedom and yet confinement with cages and snares.
