Sooo I haven't really finished yet...of course...but I'm working on it!
It's soo interesting because I feel like I have all these points and so much to say but I wish I could just turn in my thoughts rather than have to creatively contruct them into written information! haha..
its interesting how many little sentences or quotes from this book you can break down into so much meaning and really even relate to today.
Big words makes me sound smart! :)

Came up short

So the minimum is three pages right... but what if you only filled up half of that third page? Is that only two and a half pages or does that count as three? I don't think it will mater too much for tomorrow so I don't think I will add that extra paragraph that I need to fill three complete pages. One because I don't know what else to add, and two because I have been thinking about this paper too much today. Can't wait until tomorrow when we get to read a ton of these papers. Yippee!

OMG..../:

So I knew this paper was going to bite me in the butt somehow. I finished. Finally.. And my computer decided it was going to be a pain. My paper was gone.. Fail. Good thing I knew something like this would happen. I saved it in three different places and e-mailed it to myself. Jeez. This paper is going to drive me insane. And seriously. I'm not looking forward to class tomorrow. So if I'm like mega grumpy tomorrow I'm sorry. Kinda. :P Well, Im going to read over my poorly written paper and probably not change a thing until after tomorrow. Oh and reading this post was probably a waste of your time. Just saying haha.

So How 'Bout That Paper Eeeh?

So I "finished" my paper. It is a ROUGH draft. I hate my conclusion, well actually I hate a lot of it. I'm sure as I continue to revise it over the next week it will at least get a little better. But here's the thing...well actually a couple of things. 1it doesn't have a title. I hate titles I don't like naming things, it feels like it pushes them into a box of what HAS to be inside based upon what the title is. 2 I don't know MLA format. I never really learned it. I'm going to go ahead and blame it on my non-Shelby early education. I don't really know how to do it. The whole quoting things stuff I'm really unsure of the logistics on how that is supposed to work. so I made some stuff up and I hope it isn't to hard to follow. YAY for peer editing tommorow! Right?

Done.

Finally! Sing a song to the heavens- it's done! All it took was a good solid chunk of time, about 7 desperate emails to Ms. Stariha, some Peeps, Jelly Beans, a big blanket, all 3 Brit Lit music mixes, Lord of the Rings soundtrack, Enya and the determination to actually get it done. Now the fun part starts - editing. Oh, joy.

Well I am almost there!
Kind of!
I hate to admit it but I got a little too stressed out about this.
It was a lot easier once I got started.
Getting started was the hardest part for me.
But now I'm on my way. :)

p.s. Where are you Ms. Stariha??? I e-mailed you and others have asked questions on the blog. You should've known everyone was going to wait to the last minute to write their paper and ask questions. :)

Good luck to all everyone whether you're starting today or are finishing up. If you already finished it you can go... eat a biscuit or something appropriate like that. I have a couple paragraphs to go and then my least favorite part- the conclusion. I'll probably need help with that tomorrow. But anyways. Freewrite

I believe I just free wrote for a good 20 mins. and I think I pretty much just wrote my whole paper!! YAY I'm happy!! :) Know its time to make it into a more mature format using some more intelligent words!! So much Fun :/ haha well Stariha you may possibly make a writer out of me yet!! ............. Maybe haha

So I have found this great website that I may possibly want to quote but the quote I want was taken from, how they put it "some author" so how in the world do I cite that its non-sense!!

The Paper

I am really having a hard time figuring out which of the criticisms I am writing about. I think its deconstruction, but it has parts of the others. Anyway, my plan is to finish the rough draft, let Ms. Stariha look over it, and hopefully she will have some suggestions... without having to re-write the whole thing. Oh boy.
