and this...

Though we all may want, none will be remembered, as always, the sands of time will wash away all remains of our existence. Our deeds done while on this sphere, are nothing more than a drop of water into the endless ocean of human existence, in which will then be inseperable. Only the events, in which we aided to take place, will be remembered.

    I highlighted it so that I could see it better, but yeah that is one way of putting it. It is almost the same message that Oxymandias was trying to give. We many think that we are all high and mighty today but the sands of time will eventually wither away at our trophies and eventually they will be have sunken in and endless desert.
