Back to the Book

While reading over the weekend I realized how sad it is that Cathy turned into a cold and somewhat shrewed person! I really can't blame her because her life pretty much sucks but I realized the light hearted fifteen/sixteen year old is completely different from the Cathy we are first introduced too. Maybe I'm remembering this all wrong and I'd like to go back and reread when Lockwood first came to Wuthing Heights but right now I'm trying to finish the book! I really hope things start to look up for Cathy at some point. Even though she is a bit snotty I can't help but feel bad!

So the time in the computer lab today really helped me. I stumbled upon some questions that I probably would have just guessed the answer to and just go off in the wrong direction with, but sense we were in class I got everything cleared up. Plus, all of those researching sites made google look weak. I hope not a lot of you guys screwed around today because I want to be in there tomorrow too.

So I was the 667th post on this blog...is that a bad omen? Does that mean that something bad will happen as a result to this blog because the number before this was 666? I wonder...guess we'll find out soon enough. Anyways I'm trying to get caught up on Wuthering Heights but I'm failing because I keep getting distracted by When Harry Met Sally, and Louis Armstrong's music..so good but its so good that it makes it impossible to pay attention to anything else.

so for the wuthering heights project..i'm doing the soundtrack thing and it says

"create a cd insert with appropriete artwork, artist info, dedication, and a booklet that includes lyrics and a paragraph for each song...blah, blah, blah.."

so..are we supposed to do like one of those things that are in the front of the cd case...? what is a cd insert?

so Laura, this is for you- I discovered this pretty awesome Youtube video/song about Sun Salutations and it reminded of track, and yoga, and Ms. Stariha which led me to post this on this blog. For some reason this makes me really happy...but be warned it's a little bit strange and hippy-ish... :D

So thank you so much Stariha! Who'd a thunk you'd have to teach an 11th grade class how to research stuff. But honestly it was such a huge help and I would never of found anything ... ever google has always been good enough for me .... until now! haha

Also and I know I'm going to receive some hateful comments but I am ready to get going on this paper, for some reason im not worried, stressed, or freaked at all!! I found three essays today in the lab and am ready go get going on them. I'm sure that the examples Stariha has kindly written for us are going to pretty much be my guide and help me through it! and ... its bEaUtIfuL OUTSIDE!!! :)

so idk what really happened in class today..alright. i know a little bit. but it looks like the last couple of posts are happy..and not the usual complaining? nice! but thats besides the point..
