ironic?

So as I was reviewing Frankenstein I was thinking about the part in the middle of the book when Victor and the monster meet again. I think that there is a slight irony in this. Both victor and the monster are coming off a time where they are learning great deals about themselves. But what is ironic is that Victor is escaping from people to nature to acquire this peace and self fulfillment, and the monster is learning this serenity from people, and wanting people to find the peace. It is also ironic that the monster is learning "unity" or "togetherness" form these cottagers that have been exiled.

To the test!

Reading over all of my notes the history from this era, it in a way excites me to be able to write those stinking essays for tomorrow. I think that it will be neat to compile all of these stored up thoughts on the links between nature and oneself into a text that will be graded. Although I am not excited... not at all excited for those multiple choice. Those seem to be the death of me. For some reason I always feel like there are two choices that could be it, and I always choose the wrong choice... ugh. Oh well though, I must now go a cease this time to study :)

Critical Analysis paper

The worst thing about this paper has been starting on it and finding an appropriate opening paragraph that captures attention and combines your theory in the thesis statement. I spent about a hour working on the first paragraph to make sure that it was good. From here it should be easier sailing. Not going to lie, I wrote the portion of the paper that I did outside today to gather inspiration from nature....Hopefully it works!

Test

WELL IM NOT GONNA COMPLAIN ABOUT THE TEST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SEEMS TO!! hahahaa i just had to do that. well I just made my reading log and finished frankenstein so i'm pretty positive going into this test.. who am i kidding im never ready for any of these tests haha im just gonna do my best and hopefully i do better than i have been lol

Happy freaking May Day!

So usually before the test while I'm studying I write the essay in my brain. I know exactly what I'm gonna say and how I'm going to say it, not this time. I tried to mentally write my essay. It didn't happen. I have no idea what to say about this dumb time period. I am beginning to hate the Romantic Era and all their emotions. There seems to be two things to talk about, nature and the common man. That's it. nothing else. I have nothing to say. I'm going to have to tap into my inner tree hugger (way way way way down in there) and talk about how Mother Nature controls all things. Then I will have to be really redundant and write all the same things on the next essay. WOO HOOO I LOVE THIS !

Settling Down for the Long Haul.

So, after procrastinating for 3 hours by soaking up the sunshine in my backyard I am finally buckling down to start and finish this rough draft. I really don't want to spend my week nights stressing out by having to write it so I am determined to sit in front of this computer until I finish it. I am prepared to listen to all 3 of my Brit Lit mixes and some Enya and some Yiruma and eventually it will be finished. And then I can go study for that test tomorrow!

Signing Off

Unlike most studying Sundays, this will be the only time I'll be on the blog. Usually I like to use it as a distraction and constantly check for posts that will assist in my studying but not today. Today there is too much work to be done. I want to finish my rough draft today. All of it. I haven't started yet but today I want it done. Then I have to study for this Test.

"Day of Rest"- Yeah right.
