Connection from Wuthering Heights to poems?

In The Darkling Thrush it talks about a singing bird and how the man doesn't get why the bird is singing because he only sees the bad in the world. The bird gives the man hope and optimism. Which is not present in Wuthering Heights. The part that I think is like Wuthering Heights is the dark and gloomy beginning.

In Ah, Are You Digging on MY Grave? the woman dies and finds out that everyone has forgotten about her. Even her dog. This is also not like Wuthering Heights because Catherine dies but her spirit remains to torment Heathcliff and she is not forgotten.

...im way to tired to be doing this

so yeah; im pretty sure stariha said to do a blog about how the poems we read in class related back to wuthering heights. and well, im gonna do my best... sorry if it doesnt fulfill your standards?

like in the poems i got this idea of like new beginnings in a sense, ya know? but i dont 100% see a connection with wuthering heights there.. is it just me? i feel if the poems were more about, i dont know... love and protection? hmm maybe im getting the wrong look at this book.

hmmmm shoot... im going to bed now

night y'all :)

My Brain Cant Even Come Up With A Witty Title Right Now

If I make it through this week it will be by the grace of God. I think I'm going to do my research paper on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Is that okay? Also we were supposed to blog about those poems and how they connect to the Heights I think. Let me just say......I have no idea but I'm going to try right now. So that's what's up.

Well, I really liked the one about the thrush. The diction was just impeccable I thought. But anyways.... I think maybe they connect because the man who was watching the thrush was dreary, and he looked at the thrush and I think he was jealous and confused. He was confused as to what reason the thrush had to be so happy, and jealous because he wanted to be happy too. The people in Wuthering Heights are only concerned with their own happiness. They are all selfish, spoiled and self-absorbed. They look at each other and think why are you so happy? what gives you the right? But rather than just observing the others happiness they have to act upon it. No one can be happy if they can not be happy themselves. There will be no hope giving thrush singing in the wind.

I call Dibs

So I was looking more into this Thomas Hardy guy and he seems like a cool guy to do my research project on. I was just going to do some random person that had some depressing life, but hardy actually had a fairly normally life with the exception of his love life, but that could happen to anyone. So I will see what I can through together for tomorrow. I promise Mrs. Stariha that it will be good because I can actually take some interest in this projects because Hardy is not a super boring author.

Wuthering Brain

By this point in the year, I have completely lost focus in all of my classes. So I am concentrating all of my brain power (or whats left) to try and make it from 8:05 to 9:09 everyday. I am really starting to realize the true meaning of the word Wuthering. Procrastination has become the name of the game, unfortunately. Stupid projects...

So I really need to stop missing school because it's gonna take a toll on me and now I have no idea bout that project and I still have to find an author and um yeah...I'm trying. Starting now I am slacker no more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Yay.

So I was suppose to see Ms. Stariha in TAG yesterday... and she never showed. I was going to talk to her about our Wuthering Heights project because I wont be in first hour today.. So if anyone wants to fill me in on the project, that would be great(:
