Last Test
Yeah, I just got done studying for our last Brit Lit test... I am so sick of studying, I feel like my head is going to explode! Hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend and studied it up tonight. I really had to look back on the history because it was hard for me to draw connections between it and the literature. Hopefully I will have some revelations about it while I sleep tonight!
Cheap Post
alright Here goes my "cheap post"...only because of what maddie said about blogging twice in a row;)....i would just like to say im am ready for this test so....bring it on...stariha...jk im not really sure how ready i am but just make it an easy one
My Post
One More Concern
Usually I don't like posting 2 posts in a row because I think it's a little cheap (no offense people but you know it's true) but this is somewhat important:
Do we have an extended response??
I've done well in the past but that's mainly due to the fact that I knew what it was going to be about before hand. If we have one this chapter I honestly have no idea what it would be about! Yikes!

Wasting Away Again In Studyville
As I was going through all the poems to study I was having a difficult time connecting them to the Victorian period. I read the intro of history first and the main points I grabbed were peace, prosperity, reform, conflicting ideas, and realism. None of the poems address these subjects very well! Take The Darking Thrush for example. What the heck is Hardy hoping will emerge in the good time of the Victorian age?!? Tomorrow's essay may be a little bit of a stretch for me.
I have to be missing something
Okay, in my reading log I have Splendor Falls, Crossing the Bar, Prospice, Signal Man, Darkling Thrush, Are you digging on my Grave, and Sonnet 43, but I have this feeling that I am missing one more poem or something, and with me missing a few days of class it is highly likely. It might just be me, but if you find the poem that I am missing I would appreciate it.
The first poem we read?
So Abby and myself were just discussing the poems, and we were talking about the one describing the picture?... ugh, I dont remember what it is called at this very moment, but anyways, I know it was kind of talking about elf land, and then how there home is engulfed in nature and it used a lot of imagery, but what was the point of it?
OH, and Mrs. Stariha, I was looking through blog posts from last week, and I dont think mine are on here?.. and like I know people even commented on them?... did they just disappear?.. orrr...?
just wondering.

Powerpoint
Hey my computer isn't letting me comment on my other post.
But I don't need the slideshow anymore because I found out Ms. Stariha did send it to us.
She sent it under the subject title "Reminders".
I sent it to Kaitlyn and Brianna and Mallory because they all said they needed it.
If for some reason you deleted the e-mail just comment and I'll send it to you.
I reccomend asking before 10:30 though. :)

sooo....
I just wanted to express my overwhelming joy for this test tomorrow.... I feel so prepared because we spent so much time on one long novel, and no time at all on the little works that make up 99.534543% of the multiple guess. (fyi bre, that is completely sarcasim).... I just hope that it all comes back to me at around 8:05 tomorrow morning.
Victorian Age Powerpoint
So does anyone have the Victorian Age powerpoint?
It's not in the supplementary materials on Ms. Stariha's page and I don't remember her e-mailing it to us.
I e-mailed her and asked her to send it to us but I have no clue when she is going to get it and I need time to study it.
So if anyone has it and would be so nice as to send it to me it would be greatly appreciated!
Please and thank you!

29 years 11months and 29 days
That's how long the speaker at the Memorial Day service after the parade was in the Army. I even paid attention. No one Fainted! We had no Crazy Catherines having a brain fever up in there or any of that. I'm working all weekend. I love it, I love work. However I do not love that it leaves me with minimal time to study. So I will now take this wonderful time that I have so little of to study for the lovely test we will have tomorrow :) and then I shall ACE it and rejoice in my good fortune that my hard work has paid off (God willing) Have fun all! (poems to come after the rejoicing)
3rd Part?
So for the 3rd part of this paper- are we just doing the same thing we did for Frankenstein but with our author's book? The whole picking a critical theory thing?
On a different note, Happy Memorial Day! It's sunny today too- that makes me happy!
