wuthering heights - hope

i think that in wuthering heights lockwood will bring the people together and solve different underlying problems that are originated but have never been brought to surface with the characters. yet, i also feel that lockwood is kind of shallow and insecure and he won't get anywhere himself because he is an unreliable man and has no self expierience that he has done because he learns from others mistakes instead of his own doings. maybe the tables will turn. ?

  1. we have not heard much from lockwood except from the begining of the story and he will propably play an important role later in the book.

  2. I agree with both of you. We know absolutely nothing about Lockwood, only about the family, so maybe he will possibly become extremely important later on.

  3. I like your thinking guys... Lockwood is interesting because he is there... but you forget about him. He is always in the background and you wonder how he is going to come back into it!
